Cut through the toughest jobs

For engineers, cutting hard wire is an everyday task. Whether working with spring steel, electrical cable or specialist wire in industrial applications, repeated cutting can quickly lead to hand fatigue, reduced precision and lower productivity. Maun Industries’ Diagonal Cutting Pliers are designed specifically for demanding applications. They deliver clean, precise cuts while significantly reducing the effort required by the user. At the heart of the design is a compound-lever mechanism that multiplies hand force by up to 25 times, allowing hard wire to be cut with considerably less effort than similar diagonal cutters.

The result is a tool that not only makes cutting easier but also reduces fatigue during prolonged use. The cutting jaws are induction hardened to HRC 64, providing durability and edge retention, while accurately machined cutting edges deliver clean, reliable cuts across a wide range of materials. Available in 140mm and 160mm sizes, the Diagonal Cutting Plier range includes classic steel handles, PVC comfort grip versions for enhanced user comfort and fully insulated 1000V models certified to IEC 60900:2018 for professional electrical applications. www.maunindustries.com
