The Saniboost Smart booster pump has helped solve a water pressure issue in a large house in Ireland. With six bathrooms, when multiple showers and taps were running at once, the water flow was just a trickle, despite the presence of a fixed constant speed cold water booster pump.
Jack Phelps was called out to find a solution. Liaising with Saniflo in Dublin and the local merchant, Davies Ltd, he replaced the old pump with a new Saniboost Smart. This has one inlet and one outlet. The cold water from a tank feeds the pump on the inlet while the discharge pipe splits into two – one continuing as a cold-water feed to the cold water taps and WC – and the other fitted directly into a combi boiler. This heats the water via the element and the pressurised hot water is then directed to the hot taps and shower.
Jack set the water pressure on the Saniboost Smart pump to 3.5 constant pressure and this has completely solved the issue. www.sfasaniflo.co.uk
