Ideal Commercial Heating has expanded its product portfolio with the launch of the EQMAX range of gas-fired condensing water heaters, marking the company’s first move into commercial domestic hot water products.
EQMAX will enable contractors to source commercial heating and hot water equipment from a single manufacturer, making it simpler to order a more complete commercial plant room solution, supported by Ideal Commercial Heating’s nationwide sales, technical and aftersales services.
Designed for commercial buildings with hot water requirements, the EQMAX water heater range comprises 10 models offering outputs from 20kW to 120kW and storage capacities of 210, 356 and 538 litres. This allows the output and stored-water volume to be closely matched to each application.
EQMAX is suitable for both planned refurbishment projects and urgent replacement installations. Its commonly used hydraulic connection sizes and straightforward controls make installation simple. It comes with a fiveyear warranty at no extra cost when the appliance is commissioned free by Ideal within three months of the installation date.
Each EQMAX direct-fired water heater incorporates a stainless steel storage tank, heat exchanger and coil. The stainless steel is lightweight and models with 210- and 356-litre storage capacities have a diameter of less than 800mm, enabling them to pass through a standard-width doorway.
