KNIPEX has unveiled a tougher, sharper and more comfortable take on its High Leverage Diagonal Cutter in a 200mm length.
The redesigned tool features high-precision, inductively hardened cutting edges that deliver long-lasting performance even on the toughest wires. With a cutting-edge hardness of around 64 HRC and the edges positioned close to the pivot, cutting force is transmitted with maximum efficiency. It can slice through medium-hard wire up to 4.2mm, hard wire up to 3.0mm and piano wire up to 2.5mm.
A refined power joint reduces the required effort by around 20% compared to the previous model. This has a direct impact on hand strain, making repeated cutting tasks less tiring. The ergonomic handle has also been reshaped; users can hold the tool closer to the joint, shortening the handle opening width and making every cut easier.
The new model is available with comfort handles that have the KNIPEXtend interface, which enables practical add-ons like TetheredTools clips for tool fall protection and ColorCode clips for easier identification. www.knipex.com
