THE IPG APP

Turning everyday visits into great rewards

The IPG App gives you more reasons to shop local.

Four months after launching, one thing is clear: The IPG Member App has become much more than just prize draws.

Designed to reward installers for supporting their local independent member, the app is already helping stores strengthen customer loyalty, encourage repeat visits and create new opportunities for suppliers to showcase products directly to the trade.

Since launching earlier this year, customers from participating IPG member stores have already won thousands of pounds’ worth of prizes, including a £3,000 New York holiday for two, a £1,500 Home Cinema Bundle and a growing collection of supplier-sponsored rewards.

It’s also proving exactly what independent merchants have always known: give customers another reason to shop local, and they’ll keep coming back.

More than just a loyalty app

Entering the monthly prize draws couldn’t be simpler. Installers just download The IPG App, visit their nearest participating member store or showroom, collect entries and choose which monthly prize draws they’d like to enter.

But while the prize draws grab the headlines, they’re only part of the story. The app has quickly become a digital extension of the independent, giving members a professional platform to showcase exclusive offers, promote in-branch events and stay connected with their customers between visits.

For installers, that means exclusive offers, store news, supplier promotions and loyalty rewards are all available in one place.

For members of The IPG, it also creates another valuable touchpoint with customers long after they’ve left the branch. Rather than competing purely on price, members can reward loyalty, encourage repeat business and deliver a modern customer experience that keeps independent merchants front of mind.

Real winners. Real customers.

The biggest proof of the app’s success is the growing list of winners.

Earlier this year Dave Hargrave, a plumber from Sidmouth who shops at Fords South West, won a £3,000 holiday to New York for two, sponsored by Bristan, after collecting entries during his regular visits.

More recently, Jack Ratcliffe, a customer of Gas & Plumb Bits, in Poole, celebrated winning a £1,500 Home Cinema Bundle, sponsored by Imex. They’re just two of 18 winners from 12 different IPG member stores nationwide who have already been rewarded through The IPG App. Other prizes have included:

• Ooni Pizza Oven Bundle

• PlayStation 5 Bundle

• Weber BBQ Bundle

• Nintendo Switch Bundle

• Dashcams, multi-tools and many more supplier-backed prizes. And the rewards aren’t slowing down.

The App’s current headline competition gives one lucky installer the opportunity to win £3,500 worth of bespoke van racking, supplied by Van Racking

Solutions (VRS) – another prize designed specifically with the trade in mind.

It’s all part of The IPG’s goal of turning everyday branch visits into something installers genuinely look forward to.

Powered by supplier partnerships

The continued success of The IPG App wouldn’t be possible without the fantastic support of the IPG’s supply partners. By sponsoring competitions and providing exclusive promotions, suppliers are putting their brands directly in front of thousands of engaged installers while supporting independent merchants across the UK.

Customers enjoy exciting prizes and exclusive offers. Members strengthen customer loyalty and increase repeat visits. Suppliers gain valuable visibility and another highly targeted way to showcase products and promotions to the people who buy and install them every day. Everyone wins.

The BIGgest month yet

This year, The IPG App is taking on an even bigger role as the home of Trade Local Day 2026 and The BIG Sale.

Returning on 9 September 2026, Trade Local Day continues to celebrate everything that makes independent members of The IPG special, bringing together members, suppliers and installers through breakfast mornings, product demonstrations, in-branch events and exclusive promotions.

New for 2026, The BIG Sale is a month-long campaign running throughout the month of September, giving installers even more reasons to visit their local IPG member.

Throughout the month, participating suppliers will showcase exclusive offers directly within The IPG App, making it the easiest place to discover promotions, browse participating brands and find exclusive offers throughout September.

For installers, there’s no better way to experience Trade Local Day and The BIG Sale than through The IPG App.

Download. Visit. Collect. Win.

There’s never been a better time to get involved. With the chance to win £3,500 worth of bespoke van racking, exclusive supplier offers arriving throughout September and Trade Local Day just around the corner, The IPG App is becoming an essential companion for installers who regularly shop with independent members of The IPG.

If you shop at an IPG member store, download the app, collect your entries and start enjoying the rewards. Visit. Tap. Collect Entries.
