Alpha has expanded its renewable heating technology range with the Magis M Top, a monobloc air source heat pump (ASHP) designed for newbuild and retrofit residential properties.
The Magis M Top provides heating, cooling and domestic hot water and can achieve flow temperatures of up to 75°C. Using advanced inverter technology, the system regulates its output in line with real-time demand. This ensures maximum performance while minimising electricity consumption, especially during milder weather when full output isn’t required. As a result, end users benefit from improved seasonal efficiency and reduced running costs. The ASHP uses R290 natural refrigerant gas, which has high thermal efficiency and a very low global warming potential, making it an eco-friendly choice compared to conventional synthetic refrigerants.
With no F-Gas certification required, the Magis M Top also broadens the pool of installers able to fit it.
“The Magis M Top gives installers a genuinely capable heat pump. It’s designed to perform across a wide range of homes and heating set ups, and to make the installer’s job as straightforward as possible,” said Darran Smith, Technical Manager at Alpha.
Available in six versions with a range of outputs, it can be installed as a standalone unit, as part of a centralised system, or in combination with an Alpha boiler for hybrid solutions, offering installers design flexibility. www.alpha-innovation.co.uk
